FROG Ministries

To Reach the Lost, Teach the Saved, and Preach Deliverance!
F.R.O.G. Ministries Inc, P.O. Box 96, Revere, Missouri 63465

First, and foremost we give all glory to one Almighty Father God, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit our foundation. It is our desire as ministers, teachers, students and friends, to plant the seed; God's Word and watch it grow in hearts, bringing forth the Salvation for which Jesus died. Through our programs we desire to see lives changed by giving opportunities to reach out to God.

It is our Vision; to go into homes where we will minister one on one.

it is our Vision; to be an option for individuals to choose F.R.O.G. Ministries as their mentor, when they have a court order.

It is our Vision; to be Active Mentors for anyone who maybe in jail, or at a treatment center, hospital, or any situation where mentoring would be beneficial.

It is our Vision; to be available as ministers of the Gospel, speakers at churches or any outreach ministry.

It is our Vision; to include transitional housing for individuals who are in very troubled times and are sincerely trying to turn their lives around by reaching out to God.

Lastly, we, Faith Regeneration Outreach of God (F.R.O.G) Ministries come together in Faith to Accomplish our Vision.

The Beginnings Of F.R.O.G. Ministries
How Did F.R.O.G. Come To Be A Ministry

Jeffrey Allen Smith, alias "Frog", gave his heart to Jesus , and Jesus called us, Jeff and I (Debra Ann Smith), into the ministry. Upon going back and forth to Hannibal to Faith Chapel, God impressed upon me, Debra, to work on a name for the ministry that God was laying on our hearts. God gave us a vision of teaching and ministering His Word, at which time the vision was about being a bridge somehow between Hannibal and Kahoka, or Tri-State Area, God gave us a hunger to know His Word and to tell about what He has done in our lives.

So comes the name, to start with my husband's nickname was Frog. "Thinking back I didn't really thing Frog would jive, because Frog had already been used as "Fully Rely On God", and WHO ever heard of a ministry called Frog?", Only God! I thought Lord this is really out of the ordinary, but just recently he revealed to me that many ministries have been built upon the ministers last name or churches usually have a name used out of the Bible like, "Faith, Hope, Emanuel, or something on that order," but Frog is really out of the ordinary, but if we think about it, God, is NO ordinary God, so God impressed upon me to find a name using the acronym F.R.O.G., and F.R.O.G. derives from my husband's nickname, so in a way God put his stamp on it by giving our hearts the desire to minister for Him. F.R.O.G. arrived as a nickname for Jeffrey Allen Smith, when he was a very young man in his early teens and was known all through his young manhood and throughout his life's ups and downs. We came out of a drug and alcohol background and our hearts desire was to minister Jesus to those who were struggling with addictions. So F.R.O.G. begin to grow spiritually, the acronym F.R.O.G. became... "Faith Regeneration Outreach of God"

"Faith Regeneration Outreach of God"

Faith because, "It is impossible to please God without faith", He brews 11:6; Ephesians 2:8,9, by grace through Faith are we saved; Hebrews 11:1; Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen. We must have Faith in our Lord and Savior, this is the all important foundation of our Salvation
Regeneration because, "Through the blood of Jesus we are regenerated back to God by the Holy Spirit. Once we were separated, severed from God by sin in our lives, but by the Blood of Jesus we are washed white as snow, we become a new creature, that is reconciled back to God, no more separation. Titus 3:3-7; the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Regeneration refers to the work of the Holy Spirit in the salvation experience that produces new life in the believer. To express this concept, Jesus used the expression "born again" in His conversation with Nicodemus (John 3:3-7). Regeneration is the work of God, through the Holy Spirit, of placing in one who has faith a new nature, capable of doing God's will. The Holy Spirit is the agent or divine workman of this regeneration. His instrument is the Bible, which is likened to a hammer that judges sin (Jer. 23:29), a mirror that reveals sin (James 1:23), a sword that defeats Satan (Heb. 4:12), and a lamp that guides the believers (Ps. 119:105) Illustration: People are instantaneously "born again," the moment they trust Christ as savior (1 Peter 1:23). Application: Christians should be careful to cooperate with God in growing as children of God after they are regenerated, or given new life. (First Reference, John 3:3, Primary Reference Titus 3:5; cf. Eph. 1:15.)

Outreach because, we are called to reach out to the lost, II Cor. 5:18; And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation. God has called us into the ministry of reconciliation to reconcile those who do not know Jesus, or who do not know they are living in sin, reconciling them back to Jesus that they may have life, for God wishes that no one should perish, but to have everlasting life in him. Mark 15:16; And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

of God because , only through God is anything possible, Matt. 19:26; But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. Jesus tells us in John 15:5; I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. Jesus also tells us in John 15:16; Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

So at that God gave F.R.O.G. Ministries it's meaning.
